And we are done.

Just got home after a very long plane ride home. We had a hydraulic issue so had to divert to London, sat around there for about 8 hours, then flew to DC and had to stay there overnight. Finally got home today, trip is all done!

I now see why these guys do this every other year, it was a lot of fun but also expensive and exhausting. Until 2015!

Very quiet at Oktoberfest this morning

Things Are Getting a Little Crazy

We've been in the tent for about 3 hours and the transformation was pretty crazy. When we came in, everything was very sedate. People were eating, drinking a few beers, relaxing. Fast forward 3 hours, add a band and lots of beer, you get a lively bunch. 2,000 people under one roof. I've been trolling along at 80%, after Jackson babysitting the last two nights it is my turn to make sure everyone gets home. Here is Ajax in fine form.

After a really full day of museum and visiting a brewery for lunch we decided to come down early and look around.

We have a table in the tent, all made it here OK. We now sit and drink beers for 5 hours. Should be interesting.
