Things Are Getting a Little Crazy
We've been in the tent for about 3 hours and the transformation was pretty crazy. When we came in, everything was very sedate. People were eating, drinking a few beers, relaxing. Fast forward 3 hours, add a band and lots of beer, you get a lively bunch. 2,000 people under one roof. I've been trolling along at 80%, after Jackson babysitting the last two nights it is my turn to make sure everyone gets home. Here is Ajax in fine form.
Day 3 At the Wies'n
After a really full day of museum and visiting a brewery for lunch we decided to come down early and look around.
In the Fischer-Vroni Tent
We have a table in the tent, all made it here OK. We now sit and drink beers for 5 hours. Should be interesting.
Deutches Museum
This is a pretty amazing museum, they had everything from airplanes to printing presses. I think the mining exhibit was the best part, felt like you were down in a real one.
Museum this morning
Mistake 1 was to give Guy the email to the blog. Those were fake posts from last night and should have been deleted this morning
And We Start Day 3
Made it through last night. I got separated from the group and was lost downtown for a while. It was kind of scary, I drank a few too many in the tent. I ended up catching a cab, but couldn't remember exactly where our hotel was. It took a long time but I finally made it back.
Woke up and got a run in to clear the head, now we are on the way to a museum.
Looking through the photos from last night, I think this was the best one.

In the Tent
We are in the traditional festival area in the Festzelt Tradition tent. A slightly more tame Oktoberfest experience.
Made It to Octoberfest
We decided to go down to the festival last night. It was pretty unreal, biggest event I have ever seen. We went to a revolving bar, then all got split up. We made it home safe. I actually went running this morning!

Another Maß
We were going to go down to the festival but ordered another round while we waited for a few more people.
Time For More Maß!
Hofbraukeller, near our hotel. We stopped for a beer in the Biergarten but it is closed for some reason, so we went inside. This is a parents' dream. Free babysitting on-premise, picture below.
Asam Church
This was a crazy church we popped into on the way to a train station. Darron said it was built by two brothers who lived next door and built churches across Germany. I'm guessing when left to their own devices, they went a little crazy with it. That or they had no wife input.
